Lama Trekking Ticino
We are a farm that specialises in llama breeding as a result of our love for these animals and for Monte Comino (comino.ch).
We encountered the Llamas in our effort to give an agricultural impulse back to the Monte-Comino whilst seeking for solutions to stop the ongoing growth of the forest in disadvantage of the dry grasslands.

HOW TO GET THERE
By car
You can find us by taking the Centovalli international road that connects Locarno (Switzerland) to Domodossola (Italy). Starting from Verdasio, you can catch the Cableway Verdasio- Monte Comino located on the right side of the road. After 7 minutes ride you will reach the peak from where you can follow the wooden arrows with the writing “Lamatrekking”. From there it will take you 10 minutes walk to reach our farm.
HOW TO GET THERE
BY PUBBLIC TRANSPORT
The cableway can also be easily reached from both Italy and Switzerland with the Centovalli train (FART). Stop at Verdasio station, from there it is important to go up to the road, cross it and finally reach the Gondola.
